appNovi retrieves data from Arista solutions that reflect network assets and traffic. You can aggregate assets seen by Arista with other data sources and tools to maintain a full asset inventory in appNovi, and conduct searches across your complete network inventory. appNovi users conduct free text searches or construct targeted queries and save them for trend analysis and may optionally trigger orchestrators to initiate action based on results such as deploying EDR agents to unmonitored assets. Most important your assets are visualized to understand their relationships to other assets, users, applications, and risk when other data sources are integrated.
NetFlow and telemetry data are retrieved from Arista products to understand the available network connections in use across your network. Aggregating NetFlow from all data sources provides a complete repository and visualization of network connections to understand your current network and critical connections within it. This level of insight is helpful to quickly assess incident response options that will not disrupt business-critical applications, as well as understand the exposure of assets to untrusted networks such as the internet.
